We had the old girl only 11 months, but in that time she gave us more love and laughter than a litter full of puppies. She's leaving us today, but will live forever in our memories.
In memory of Keith Cowley 2/29/1928-2/21/2010. "Till we meet once more, On that far distant shore......
Born 8-14-1998 Passed 3-17-2010 Hossy was a great friend and a super dog truly a GREAT DANE.He had one of the best temperaments and attitudes towards life. His last year when he was in pain from arthritis he still played with our other dogs .He lived a long and full life( 11years-7months) we will miss him dearly .Rest in peace Hossy. LOVE , MAMA and PAPA
Zena was one of a kind and to know her was to love her. She was a TV commercial and print ad model and a true Diva. She ruled the household and let everyone know she was to be obeyed. Her passion was chasing a laser light, and her failing body never slowed her down. Her life was rich and full thanks to a wonderful foster mom and she leaves all of us who knew her with wonderful, funny and touching memories.
Rest well until we are together again my sweet Zena
In memory of Jackson, who gave us his love everyday. "How's my boy" would always start and end our days. He loved belly-rubs and hugs. He made us smile and laugh. Taken from us way too soon, we will meet again. We love you
Markus was the purest example of unconditional love and never-ending devotion. From the first day he joined our family, he brought us great joy and tremendous pride. With his mom in the show ring with him, and his dad outside the ring cheering him on, Markus earned many championship titles. In 2006 Markus earned the title as the 21st top winning Great Dane in the U.S. - an honor well deserved! Markus was gracious and friendly to everyone he met. He was gentle and patient. He won the hearts and admiration of everyone who met him. He was a once in a life-time companion - he was truely "Worth The Wait". Rest easy our sweet boy... our hearts have been shattered with your departure

In memory of Vikki Linstroth. Her passing is a loss to the Great Dane Community and all those who loved her. I took this at her house when she had a litter of dane pups, I think this picture really captures vikki and who she really was. She delighted in her puppies and would get right on the floor with them and play, her dogs brought out the very best in her and she saw something magical in them and they made her so happy, she truely was one of a kind. I will miss my dear friend

In loving memory of Georgia who LOVED her great danes. She was a terrific ‘mom’ to Zasu, Blue and Sophie and missed by so many friends.
From your many friends at Target.
An "alpha" personality to the very end, Trina crossed the bridge very unexpectantly at only 9 1/2 years. After spending the past several years as a "love everybody only child" in her forever home, she s back with Keith - demanding & getting his full attention.

Marla was not a Great Dane. She was a Boston Terrier. She came into our lives in the greatest hour of her need. She was 9 years old and 8 lbs. She could barely lift her head or hold her body up. She was from a hoarding situation and had spent her 9 years scrapping for food and love and as an accidental breeder.
Marla passed this morning due to Pericarditis. I am so grateful she spent her last year in a place where she was loved and food was plentiful. She left this world at 14 lbs, loved and held until her last moment.
Marla was at Pet a Palooza this year and loved the Danes. Well, all but one. LOL! She did bite Neve and held on to her flews like it was her mission. I digress...
In Marlas honor I am donating $100 to the rescue. I hope you all do the same, Loving our charges is important, but sharing our love is a necessity.
RIP Marla, no one will ever snore in my ear like you did.
A very wise dog woman once told me that dogs find owners, not the other way around. They pick you and they choose to stay with you. In that way, they are also giving you the end of their life. The deeper the bond, the harder it is to say goodbye. I know I'd rather have any amount of time with a dog I love and suffer the mourning than not have the time at all.

We were blessed to have this old boy in our lives. In less than two years he stole our hearts and we'll never be the same again. We hope he knew how much he was loved and how much we appreciated the love he gave us. We miss you big guy!
