Here are some pictures of Ella in our house!

She is the happiest girl in the world. She barked and jostled the crate a bit when I was leaving for work today. It was really hard, but I made myself leave. I hope she is okay when I go home for lunch. I’m watching the clock like a hawk!!

Also, we learned this morning that she does NOT like Garbage trucks. She pulled me down the street and back to our house. I’m sure our neighbors were giggling at us.

I wanted to give you a quick update on Ella.

We are in love with her already. She is such a sweet girl. We have (mostly) cured her habit of jumping up when she greets us. She is so smart that we’ve really enjoyed teaching her new things. She already knows a lot, but has selective hearing.

Also, all of the animals in our house have adjusted to each other, and we are finally feeling more at ease with all of them sharing space. Sometimes, when Ella is excited, she will see a cat run across the room and can’t help but to chase them. I think that they also think this is fun because they keep coming back for more. It is quite entertaining.

I’m really looking forward to seeing one of the cats cuddle with her (because she is a cuddle bug), but I think that might take awhile longer. I will be sure to IMMEDIATELY send you a picture when that happens.

Thank you so much for bringing her into our lives. I’ve begun to forget what it was like to NOT have her at home.

Hi Ann,  I checked out the website and the new design looks great.

I wanted to give you a quick update on our rambunctious girl, Ella. We are so happy that she has entered our lives. She is such a joy to have around. She doesn’t like to play with many things (ie. a laser light, catch, chase, tug) but she loves to jump around and be excited when other people/dogs are playing with toys. It is so fun to see her excitement radiate through the room and house.

She is also adapting more to the cats. She still tries to play with them, and lick them often, but she has begun to allow them to sniff her and get closer to her when she is napping. The cuddling is just around the corner. I can tell!

I’ve attached some pictures from our Christmas trip up to my parent’s house. The combination of a large yard and fresh snow was really fun. Ella was so worn out that she slept most of the Christmas Party.

Also, we measured her last night……she is really scared of the tape measure, so it was an interesting process……and her shoulder is 32 inches off the ground, and she weighs 95lbs!!!! She is really growing quickly. It is incredible to see.
